WHAT TO EXPECT

A Warm Welcome
Greeters at each door to welcome and assist you, as well as others to help you find the right classrooms for children, bathrooms, and other Important areas.

A Casual Environment
There is no dress code at Glen Mar. Some folks feel more comfortable wearing “church clothes,” but most dress casually. Fellowship times before and after worship give a chance to meet new friends and perhaps discover some neighbors or co-workers who attend Glen Mar while enjoying doughnuts, coffee, and lemonade.

Diverse Worship
Glen Mar offers a casual, spirited worship service for the entire family every Saturday afternoon at 5 p.m. and several distinct styles of worship each Sunday morning.

7:30 - Early Communion in the Chapel
If you prefer a smaller church experience or want Communion every Sunday, this is the service for you.
8:00 - Traditional Worship Service in the Spirit Center
If you prefer traditional United Methodist worship, with a variety of hymns, choir, soloists or handbells, this is the service for you. Cribbery for up through age 3 available.
9:30 - Spirited Traditional Worship Service in the Spirit Center
A blend of traditional and contemporary music provides a joyful, uplifting celebration. Currently, this is our largest service. Bible Exploration for all ages and Cribbery provided.
11:00 - Contemporary Praise Worship Service in the Spirit Center
Praise Team and Band lead lively worship. This is our most upbeat and most informal service. Bible Exploration for children and adults, and Cribbery provided.
