God depends on all of us to be servants in the world. Our families and our community depend on the gifts that we willingly share in and outside the walls of the church. We understand that while some ministry necessarily takes place within the church building, most ministry is shared outside the walls of the church.

Glen Mar participates in many caring ministries whose focus is serving. From prayer requests to serving in worship and church visits to mission trips, serving the world takes place in the church, in the community, regionally, in other areas of the country and abroad. Many of these opportunities are local ministries that are less than a half-hour away where whole families can participate and only require a few hours of your time. Some are related to broader global organizations like 30-hour famine and Compassion International. And some are completely hands-on like volunteering at the Thrift Shop or fixing a leaky roof. Whatever, your strength or talent, there is an opportunity to serve.
