CLASS INFORMATION

Glen Mar Preschool offers a non-denominational program with an emphasis on loving and sharing through Bible stories, short prayers, music and chapel. Our teachers are highly trained and selected with great care. They have years of experience working with two, three, and four year olds.

We supplement our classroom program with varied field trips and in-house activities each year. A special music program is also provided on a weekly basis to enhance classroom music.

Class Sessions
Our classes meet for 2 1/2 hours a day. We offer both morning and afternoon classes. Morning classes meet from 9:15 - 11:45 am. Afternoon classses meet from 12:30- 3:00 pm. The following sessions are available for each age group:

2 Year Olds
(Focuses on socialization, sharing, introduction to colors and shapes, seasonal crafts, numbers 1, 2, and 3)
• 1 day per week program Tuesday or Thursday AM only

3 Year Olds
(Focuses on socialization, group skills, sharing, colors and shapes, senses, nutrition, good health habits, transportation)
• 2 day per week program Tuesday and Thursday AM or PM
• 3 day per week program Monday, Wednesday and Friday AM or PM

4 Year Olds
(Readiness program for kindergarten – focuses on socialization, group skills, sharing)
• 2 day per week program Tuesday and Thursday PM only
• 3 day per week program Monday, Wednesday and Friday AM or PM
• 5 day per week program Monday through Friday PM only

5 Year Olds (as of February 1st)
(Readiness program for kindergarten – focuses on socialization, group skills, sharing)
• 5 day per week program Monday through Friday PM only

Class Size
All classes have a teacher and an assistant. The maximum number of children in each class is based on the age of the children.
• 2 year olds have 8 children per class
• 3 year olds have 12 children per class
• 4 year olds have 16 children per class
