MISSION TRIPS

Glen Mar participates in several mission trips outside of the immediate area each year. Youth and adults have two trips to Hurley, VA during the summer. Hurley Select is a smaller group of graduating high school seniors and above; and Big Hurley is open to 8th grade and above. In the last few years, our numbers have exceeded 100 participants.

Youth On A Mission (YOAM) is a community program started by a group of youth from our church in conjunction with youth from other churches. They coordinate a mission trip to Slidell, Louisiana each year during spring break.

Other mission trips have included trips to Philadelphia, Tahlequah, OK (Cherokee Nation) and Eleuthera in The Bahamas.
