2012 GLEN MAR SUMMER MISSION TRIPS

All youth in the 8th grade and older and adults are encouraged to consider participating in one of our four weeks of mission trips this summer. Mission trips are the best thing we do in youth ministry and they are a week that will change your life!

Participants who attend both Hurley trips will receive a $25 discount on the second trip.

* Cost includes all housing, meals, materials and a T-shirt. Participants are strongly urged to support various mission trip fund-raisers. Participant fees do not cover the total costs of the trips, which include chaperon registration, vehicle rental and fuel. Solid fund-raising effort is required to cover the approximately $15,000 in unbudgeted expenses.

Participants in any of the youth mission trips (Tuscaloosa Select, Hurley #1 and/or #2, & Urban Mission Experience) will have three mandatory training sessions prior to the trips:

  1. Saturday, March 17 - 9:15am - 12noon
  2. Saturday, April 21 - 10am - 12noon + adult training 12:15-1pm
  3. Saturday, May 19 - 9am - 12:30pm
