HANDBELL CHOIRS

Glen Mar offers a graded handbell program that affords interested ringers an alternative mode of musical expression and worship leadership. Handbell choirs often ring the prelude and/or offertory during worship, and also accompany various vocal choirs. Their outreach efforts bring joy to many nursing homes and senior resident centers in the area. There are three levels of ringing available: Youth Bells for beginners, Echoes of Joy for intermediate skill level, and Covenant Ringers for advanced ringing. Summer workshops are offered annually for those interested in learning the fundamentals.

Each handbell choir has a limited number, however ringers with experience are encouraged to sing up as substitutes.
