STRATEGIC PLAN

Glen Mar Church has a clear mission:
Praising God, Growing Disciples, Serving the World.

Periodically, we review our current status and discuss what it would look like if we were very successful at implementing our Mission (Vision). Then, we develop steps to help us move from the present to the future (Strategic Plan). The lastest plan, our third, was commissioned by the Church Conference and approved by the Church Council in 2007. It addresses the planned retirement of the Senior Pastor, the move to a new building, and our requirement to become an “Acts 2” church. It attempts to improve the process of coordinating church activities and it showcases a new approach for performing our ministries (North Point model).
