ABOUT ANDY

Andy Lunt has been lead pastor of Glen Mar Church since 1979. He grew up in Williamsport, PA, attended Lycoming College, the US Naval Academy, and Drew University Theological School. Andy holds a Ph.D. in communications from the University of Maryland and now teaches preaching classes at Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, DC.

Andy’s passions are preaching, teaching, and equipping others to discover and use their spiritual gifts in ministry.

When not engaged in ministry, Andy enjoys walking, kayaking, tennis, golf, and listening to music. He loves to travel, and has led groups to many different parts of the world over the last 20 years.

Andy is married to Joan, a retired kindergarten teacher. They have two adult sons living in Maryland and South Carolina, two daughters-in-law, and two grandchildren.
